Job description

About the Role & Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role will support multiple lines of business (Media Networks, Theatrical, Streaming) and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, a proactive mindset, and a passion for simplifying complex data into actionable insights. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, planning, and forecasting, and will be instrumental in supporting new business growth initiatives.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home.

What You Will Do

  • Create, maintain, and improve recurring and ad-hoc financial reports to streamline work across the finance and business teams.

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly results reporting with detailed analysis, data validation, and commentary for multiple business areas.

  • Support month-end and quarter-end processes, including preparation of accruals, reconciliations, and transaction reclassifications.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and ad-hoc analysis.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles by preparing templates, consolidating submissions, and checking completeness and accuracy of data received.

  • Contribute to new business growth initiatives by providing financial modelling, scenario analysis, and profitability insights.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in a financial analysis or business finance role, ideally in a cross-functional environment.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Fluent in the wider Microsoft 365 stack (Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Planner, Forms, Loop, Microsoft Lists) and ability to weave those apps into end-to-end automated solutions.

  • Hands-on experience designing information architecture in SharePoint Online (lists, libraries, site columns, content types, managed metadata).

  • Knowledge on how to design repeatable extract-transform-load (ETL) pipelines with Power Query (M language) in Excel, Power BI Dataflows or Dataverse.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn messy, multi-source data into a clean, dependable dataset that downstream reports and workflows can trust.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA systems, including navigating modules, extracting data, and understanding core business processes within the platform.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to clearly explain financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting with multiple stakeholders.
