Job summary

A global leader in cancer diagnostics is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer in Poland. This fully remote position involves installing histopathology equipment, ensuring excellent after-sales service, and working alongside the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, field service experience, and fluency in Polish and English. Qualifications

  • Fluency in Polish & English is required.

  • Provide preventative maintenance and fault analysis to customers.

Job description
  • Carry out on site installation of various Histopathology and ancillary equipment
  • Contributing to the establishment of a new service organization in Poland
  • Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Spares Stock management and other service documentation.
  • Work closely with Field Support Team to ensure all customers are provided with an industry leading professional After Sales Service within the KPI’s set by Service Management.
  • Co-operate closely with and support the sales team with tasks such as basic training for customers, installations, demonstrations and system builds.
  • Exchange valuable information resulting from customer contacts to increase customer satisfaction and sales/service administration and communication, competent for our clients.
Our requirements
  • Experience in Field Service or a related field preferred, including Laboratory work.
  • Educated in a Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical or Biomedical qualification subject. Preferably Bachelor’s degree/diploma level or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Fluency in Polish & English
Optional
  • Knowledge of network configuration and setup such as firewalls and TCP/IP networking components in a Windows environment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate with CRM tools such as SFDC/ Field Service.
  • Ability to carry & move up to 25kg safely.

  • The Senior Field Service Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for visiting customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practices in line with set KPI’s.
