Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Poland is seeking an enthusiastic Field Applications Engineer to support customers across Turkey and Eastern Europe within the Renesas Analog & Power portfolio. You will bridge customers and internal teams, driving design-in opportunities and ensuring successful implementations from concept to mass production.

You will collaborate with Sales Engineers and FAEs, travel within territory, and communicate customer needs clearly while promoting the complete portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in Analog and Power Management applications.
• Strong problem-solving capability to interface customer needs and resources.
• Very good command of English and mobility.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and travel.

Renesas/Altium is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Field Application Engineer (FAE) for its Regional Sales team. In this role, the candidate will work closely with Sales Engineers and FAEs across Turkey and Eastern Europe to support key customers in Renesas Analog & Power product portfolio.

This position is with Altium Poland. The employment contract will be with Altium Poland.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you are the bridge between your customers and many internal business divisions. Your primary goal is to win new business through proactive in-depth design and development support that will solve your customers' challenges. This requires a profound knowledge of the customer development process. You need to be familiar with all the aspects of the product lifecycle, from development to mass production.

In this role, you will also be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology proposal and evaluation stages. As part of the Sales team, you act as the key technical advisor for a wide range of your customers' applications.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with sales to drive relationship building with customers.
• Promote the complete analog and power portfolio, including interfaces, power management, as well as sensors. Work closely with your Digital and Connectivity FAE counterparts, also addressing Renesas' digital & connectivity solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and support to develop Renesas revenues, in close cooperation with the Renesas Sales Team and Distribution Network.
• Drive and support projects proactively from demand creation to mass production.
• Grow solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions. Can demonstrate products and get involved with system-level design, or in-depth technical support as required.
• Identify new sockets for Renesas by working closely with customers at project design level to achieve Design Win targets.
• Create, organize, update, and track opportunities and designs.
• Develop a good understanding of customer products and markets, as well as supply, and business requirements. Be able to communicate them clearly at all levels internally, and highlight critical product needs.
• Understand the competition for us within the customers and develop strategies to counter their activity.
• Travel within the assigned territory to customers and distributors.
• Be entrepreneurial and take ownership to keep an eye on and drive the business opportunity.

Besides your demonstrated technical skills and experience, we are looking for a team player. You should have very good communication skills and interaction with people. You are curious by nature and eager to keep up with our technological advances, as well as your customers' development. Furthermore, you like to share your knowledge and experience with your customers and team. Additionally, it is required to act on your own initiative, evaluate chances and risks carefully.

5+ years of experience in a similar role would be preferred, but personality and technical knowledge are key.

Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in Analog and Power Management applications, and a good track record of building customer relationships.

Basic knowledge about MCU/MPU systems is not mandatory, but useful.

Strong problem-solving capability to interface customer needs and resources with energetic and proactive approaches.

Strategic and commercial thinking to perform and organize efficient design planning for target accounts. Have the capability to identify key projects and recommend possible solutions.

Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Very good command of English and mobility are key elements required for the job.
