Job summary

GlobalLogic Kraków is seeking four senior data engineering specialists to implement and deliver platform capabilities for secure data discovery, access, and activation across enterprise systems and third-party providers.

You will contribute to solution design, build federated query services, and develop semantic and abstraction layers, while creating reusable APIs and maintaining performance, reliability, and scalability.

We are seeking four senior engineering specialists who will be responsible for implementation and delivery of key platform capabilities. While architecture leadership is provided by the platform architecture team, these hires are expected to bring deep expertise, contribute to solution design, challenge assumptions, and guide implementation decisions based on industry experience.

Requirements

Implement the platform capabilities that enable disparate data sources to be combined, virtualized, standardized, and exposed through a consistent access model without requiring extensive physical consolidation.

Experience with technologies and platforms such as

• Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Purview
• BigQuery, BigLake, Dataplex
• Athena, Redshift Spectrum, Lake Formation, Glue
• Data virtualization, federated query, semantic layer, or data fabric platforms
• Strong Python
