Job summary

Sonoco is seeking an Enterprise Network Engineer III to join our Global Networks team. You will engineer, implement, optimize, and support our global network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, WLAN, and DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM).

This role offers cross‑regional collaboration, leadership in modernization efforts, and close work with security teams. The role requires strong operational experience, Python/Ansible scripting, and a passion for scalable, secure networking in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• University/College degree required.
• Fluent in English.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise-class networks.
• Certifications preferred: Cisco CCNA or higher; Arista ACE; Fortinet NSE; BlueCat certifications.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: set network standards, architectures, roadmaps, and documentation.
• Operational Management: design, deploy, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD‑WAN; manage DNS/DHCP/IPAM and security.
• Leadership & collaboration: mentor engineers and lead incident RCA and cross‑functional projects.
