Senior Enterprise Network Engineer – Global Infrastructure

Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to lead the development, deployment, and optimization of our global network infrastructure from Kraków. You will architect secure LAN/WAN solutions, manage Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba switching and wireless, and drive performance improvements across complex environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure documentation and incident response readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Skilled in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and subnetting.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Proven ability to build and implement secure network architectures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions across LAN/WAN environments.
• Manage projects related to Palo Alto Networks firewalls, covering policy development, threat prevention, and VPN configuration.
• Manage and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure, including ClearPass and AirWave.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Implement and enforce network security guidelines and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and business applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response efforts.
• Build and support dark fiber solutions for high-capacity network infrastructure.
