Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Operations Analyst to join the Network Operations Systems Group in Kraków. You will design and deliver automation solutions that improve reliability and efficiency for a global network.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and software engineers to analyze processes, design workflows using BPMN, write SQL queries, and modify YAML configurations, while practicing Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives independently with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate options.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Hands-on BPMN design using Camunda or similar platforms.
• Experience writing SQL queries to support automation.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Manage automation initiatives from requirements to design, implementation, testing and delivery.

As a Senior Engineering Operations Analyst, you will be part of a cross-functional team that designs and develops reliable automation solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and software engineers to understand operational needs, design workflows, and deliver solutions that improve business processes.

As a Senior Engineering Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Working with stakeholders to understand business processes, clarify requirements, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Managing Independently assigned automation initiatives from requirements analysis and solution design through implementation coordination, testing, and delivery.
• Designing and maintaining BPMN workflows, developing SQL queries, and modifying supporting automation configurations, including YAML templates.
• Collaborating with software engineers to evaluate solution approaches, resolve technical questions, and ensure implementations align with business requirements.
• Analyzing existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintaining documentation for automation solutions, including process models, workflows, configurations, and dependencies.

• Have a bachelor in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Have experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, organizing work independently, and collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate complex issues, evaluate solution alternatives, and recommend improvements.
• Have experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Have hands‑on experience designing, modifying, and troubleshooting workflow models using BPMN, with Camunda or a similar platform.
• Have experience writing SQL queries and analyzing data to support business processes and automation initiatives.
