Job summary

Sandoz is seeking a Maintenance Lead in Poland to oversee the maintenance system across automated production lines. You will drive TPM initiatives, manage a team, and ensure safety, reliability, and cost controls while aligning with global engineering standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering / technical sciences.
• At least 2 years experience in maintenance in a high quality company with automated production.
• Experience with pharmaceutical industry standards and requirements.
• Good GMP and HSE knowledge.
• Knowledge of TPM and lean manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Dynamic, proactive, and CI approach.
• Polish fluent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the maintenance system to ensure safety, improve reliability, reduce costs, and optimize spare parts.
• Manage the personal budget against actual spend.
• Lead TPM projects (autonomous maintenance, RCA, skills matrix, 5S) and spare parts optimization.
• Initiate and lead projects for savings, optimizations, and recapex.
• Mentor and develop the team professionally.
• Oversee the entire production machinery.
• Monitor KPIs: MTTR, MTBF, action ratios, breakdowns, and production impact.
• Contribute to recapex plan (1-year and 5-year forecast).
• Align with global engineering guidance and policies.

Job description

• Responsibility for maintaining and developing maintenance system in order to assure safety, improve machine reliability, reduce costs and optimise spare parts inventory
• Manages personal budget against actual spend
• Leads projects in the field of TPM (especially autonomous maintenance, RCA, skills matrix, 5S), spare parts optimisation and machinery technical improvement
• Initiate and lead the projects in terms of savings, optimisations and recapex
• Manages and guides the professional development of the team
• Oversees the whole production machinery
• KPI’s: MTTR, MTBF, corrective/preventive actions ratio, breakdowns rate, maintenance actions execution, impact on production plan execution and quality
• Provides a contribution to recapex plan (full year + 5 years forecast)
• Aligns with global engineering guidance and policies

• Experience with pharmaceutical industry standards and requirements

Compensation Structure & Criteria:

Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
