Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing including embedded systems.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and STL.
• Expertise in embedded RTOS concepts (Zephyr OS, FreeRTOS, VxWorks) and low-level hardware-software interactions.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks in C++ and Python scripting for test development.
• Proficiency in English at a B2/C1 level.
• Familiarity with Yocto Project, embedded Linux, and microcontroller platforms (e.g., STM32, ARM Cortex).
• Strong grasp of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries is highly valued.
• Confidence working with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Familiarity with requirements and test management tools (e.g., Jama) and traceability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex embedded systems and C++-based applications.
• Implement test automation frameworks tailored to embedded environments (GTest/GMock, Catch2, Unity, etc.).
• Develop custom test harnesses and scripts in Python to streamline and scale test coverage.
• Conduct unit, integration, system, regression, white‑box, and black‑box testing.
• Debug and analyze system behavior using tools like GDB, Lauterbach, or Ozone.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and hardware teams to ensure quality across the product lifecycle.
• Manage test data, test cases, and traceability documentation in line with V-model and safety-critical standards.
• Support CI/CD integration with test pipelines and version control (Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.
