Job summary

Google Warsaw and Kraków are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Embedded Systems in the Pixel Core Bring Up team. This role focuses on low-level software for silicon bring-up and requires expertise across Linux drivers, kernel modules, and firmware, with a track record in embedded systems.

You will drive end-to-end software readiness for pre- and post-silicon milestones, collaborate with multiple hardware and software teams, and contribute to high-performance consumer devices built by Google.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more languages.
• 3 years testing/maintaining software products; 1 year design/architecture.
• 3 years working with embedded operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Lead Pixel Software for new silicon programs; drive readiness and risk mitigation.
• Drive software readiness to production-stack Boot-to-Home on early silicon.
• Collaborate with Emulation/Simulation teams to define software requirements.
• Lead wafer and Silicon on Desk bring-up with CDT/docs/Flash tooling support.
