Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a client team on-site in Luxembourg. You will architect and implement hardware-agnostic on-board software for Linux and RTOS, enabling rapid integration across platforms.

You will work with the AI team, drive MISRA and CERT practices, and mentor junior engineers while building robust HAL/middleware and bus-protocol drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years embedded software development with cross-platform emphasis.
• Expert in C (C99/11) and Modern C++ (11/14/17) with solid OOP/procedural design.
• Deep experience with I2C, SPI, UART (multi-bus/multi-device).
• Experience developing for Linux (Yocto/Ubuntu) and RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, RTEMS).
• Python scripting for build/test automation.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging (JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes).
• Git/GitFlow and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Platform & Abstraction: design hardware-agnostic HAL and OS layers for Linux and RTOS.
• Driver & Protocol Implementation: multi-bus drivers and ICDs/datasheets enforcement.
• Architecture & Best Practices: MISRA/CERT adherence, static analysis, CI pipelines.
• Automation & Testing: Python tooling, hardware-in-the-loop/soft-in-the-loop tests.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: work with AI/Backend teams, mentor juniors.
