Accenture is hiring for a senior embedded software safety architect to define and maintain safety architecture across a complex SoC platform. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software safety architecture or a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 26262, especially Part 6 (Software Level) and Part 4 (System-Level Development).
• Hands-on experience with safety-relevant SoC platforms and hardware safety features (MPU/MMU, ECC, lockstep cores).
• Experience with hypervisor-based architectures (QNX Hypervisor, Xen) used in safety-critical or mixed-criticality environments.
• Strong low-level software background in bootloaders, bare-metal development, RTOS, or OS internals.
• Ability to translate system-level safety requirements into practical software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the software safety architecture for a complex SoC software platform, covering low-level components, hypervisor integration, bootloaders, and OS layers.
• Derive and allocate safety requirements from system level down to software components; support continuous improvement of safety-related processes and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware-software interfaces, safe boot processes, integrity verification, startup/shutdown sequences, and safety analyses; drive platform reliability and compliance.
