Sii Poland’s Embedded Competence Center is seeking an experienced test engineer to design and automate validation for programmable Ethernet switch software. You will build Python-based testing frameworks, create robust test scenarios for switch firmware, and help ensure reliability across hardware and software platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in a similar position.
• Strong experience in Python-based test automation.
• Experience with networking automation frameworks and Linux environments.
• Hands-on testing of physical and virtual L2/L3 switches and routers.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Good spoken and written English.
• Residing in Poland is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for switch software and firmware.
• Develop Python-based testing frameworks for functional and performance testing.
• Perform regression, stress, and system-level testing on hardware platforms.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with developers to identify, reproduce, and verify fixes for software defects.
