Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded C Developer (IoT) to join our IoT experts team in Poland. You will work on Linux-based devices, developing drivers, applications, and data transmission to cloud services, collaborating closely with the R&D team in the USA.

You will contribute to smart home and home security products like floodlight cameras, smart doorbells, and alarms, applying your experience in embedded C and Linux to build robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial hands-on experience in embedded C programming.
• Experience in embedded/IoT devices development based on Linux/RTOS.
• Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication in English (both written and spoken).
• Good analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop gateways and end devices (like cameras) for the IoT ecosystem.
• Software design and implementation.
• Analyzing and solving complex engineering problems in IoT environment.

We are looking for experienced, open-minded, and creative Senior Embedded C developer, to join our team of IoT experts.

You will create new and develop existing products related to the IoT network: floodlight cameras, smart doorbells, smart alarms, and anything else you can imagine thinking about smart home and home security. And by saying “create” we really mean it. This is the role in which your ideas and creativity are much welcome, as the final result will depend on our team’s approach and work.

All products are Linux-based devices, so the area of your responsibility will contain drivers, application layer, sending data to cloud/internet etc. If you already have some experience in this area – great! If not, don’t worry – we will provide you access to unique technology, experts, and know-how, just give us a good basis! You will also be cooperating closely with the R&D team in the USA.
