Job summary

Adapt E is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer to design high-reliability hardware for industrial environments. You will lead schematic design, BOM selection, and multi-layer PCB layouts for products, collaborating with firmware and mechanical teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Altium Designer, industrial networks, power electronics, and RF/EMC considerations. You’ll support prototypes through validation and help ensure CE/EMC readiness, including EMI filtering and galvanic

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electronics hardware design.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar EDA tools.
• Experience with industrial networks.
• Experience in power supply and power electronics design.
• Knowledge of ESD, EFT, and surge protection.
• Experience with galvanic isolation.
• Proficiency with SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces.
• Experience designing hardware around STM32, NXP, or TI MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Electronic schematic design.
• Component selection and BOM preparation.
• Multi-layer PCB design and layout.
• Preparation of PCB manufacturing and assembly documentation.
• EMC design for industrial environments.
• Technical support and consulting during prototype bring-up and validation.
