Job summary

Indeema Software, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their team in Wrocław, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and hardware testing. Collaborating with embedded engineers is a key part of the role, ensuring smooth integration of hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hardware design including multi-layer PCBs, and a solid knowledge of both analog and digital electronics. Interest in battery-powered systems and RF layout are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HW design, including multi-layer PCBs.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets and application notes.
• Good documentation practices and version control knowledge.

Job description

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Schematic capture and PCB layout (in Altium or KiCAD);
• Component selection, BOM creation, and coordination with PCBA manufacturers;
• Hardware bring-up, testing, and validation
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure smooth software–hardware integration;
• Documentation of hardware designs and revision tracking;
• Presenting HW solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience HW design (including multi-layer PCBs) and bring up;
• Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics;
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, application notes, and reference designs;
• Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, and EMI best practices;
• Good documentation and version control practices (e.g., Git, versioned projects/BOMs)
• Ability to communicate with clients on technical matters.

Will be a big plus:

• Familiarity with low-power design and battery-powered systems;
• Experience with high-speed signal design, controlled impedance, and RF layout
• Experience using Python for scripting, automation, and prototyping;
