Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer for London or Reading. You will develop electrical designs, produce calculations and reports, and deliver across multiple building projects in partnership with architects and contractors.

Senior level includes leading packages, managing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring energy-efficient, compliant solutions within BIM environments.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in an MEP/building services consultancy.
• Strong electrical design experience across project stages.
• Good knowledge of UK standards and regulations.
• Experience with electrical calculations and technical docs.
• Familiarity with BIM and 3D design environments.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs from concept to construction.
• Produce calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Deliver electrical solutions across varied building projects.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and contractors.
• Support projects through tender and construction stages.
• Review designs and provide technical solutions.
