Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, scale, and secure distributed infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You’ll build self-service Kubernetes platforms, implement CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams on cloud-native best practices.

The role focuses on cost-efficient, resilient systems with observability, release gates, and secure architectures. English and Russian communication are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering for high-load distributed systems.
• Strong multi-cloud & multi-region architecture knowledge.
• Production-grade Kubernetes admin, Helm templating, and traffic routing.
• Linux administration and cross-stack troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms using reusable Helm templates to enable developer self-service.
• Own pipeline reliability, cost, and speed. Embed automated release gates, secure secret architectures, and software vulnerability scanning (SCA).
• Build custom tools to extend platform capabilities and standardize shared environments.
• Maintain distributed tracing, logging, and metrics systems. Guide development teams on service instrumentation and establishing SLIs/SLOs/SLAs.
• Consult development teams on system architecture, resource optimization, and modern traffic routing patterns.
