Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in Poland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud-native infrastructure. You will automate infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage workloads across AWS and Azure while enforcing security and reliability.

Collaboration with security and development teams is essential to meet business goals and compliance. You will leverage Terraform, GitLab CI, and Kubernetes in a fast-paced, globally impactful environment, enabling secure software

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles.
• Proven experience building and operating cloud-native platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for automation and continuous delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help drive innovation, implement modern DevOps practices, and contribute to the evolution of our cloud‑native infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Automate full‑stack infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
• Deploy and manage workloads in Amazon ECS, EKS and Azure AKS.
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with external teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with security standards, development and business goals.
• Follow corporate processes and best practices.
• Continuously improve systems through automation, performance tuning, and process optimization.
• Work across multiple projects with varied architectures and deployments.

Your Tech Toolkit

We’re looking for someone with experience in:

• Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.); Azure (ACA, AKS, Blob Storage, CosmosDB, HDInsight, SQL, Monitor, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation
• Networking and Cyber‑Security: DNS, CertificatesWAF, VPCs/VNets, Security Groups, NACLs, etc.
• Container orchestration: load balancers, ECS, ACA, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)
• CI/CD tooling: GitLab CI (preferred), Jenkins
• Scripting & automation: Bash/Shell, Python
• Security best practices: IAM, KMS, encryption in transit/at rest
• REST, WebSocket, long‑lived TCP connections.
• Monitoring & observability: DataDog, BigPanda

What You Bring

• 4+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles.
• Proven experience building and operating cloud‑native platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for automation, developer enablement, and continuous delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Compensation Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between 159,500 zł - 252,200 zł. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (“bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job‑related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
