Job summary

Avid is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to automate testing, release, and deployment on the Avid Content Core platform, a multi-tenant SaaS on AWS EKS. The role requires autonomous operation within a team of senior engineers and strong communication to influence architectural decisions.

The position is based remotely in Poland with CET hours, and requires extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Istio, and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years building large, complex cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Istio, ArgoCD.
• Experience provisioning multi-tenant infra (Crossplane or similar).
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Establish GitOps CI/CD practices (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Implement blue-green/canary rollouts and progressive delivery.
• Automate manual provisioning and IaC for multi-tenant environments.
• Provide last-level technical support as needed.
• Build tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
• Perform root cause analyses for production issues.
