Our IT Operations Competence Center at Sii Polska is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance reliability, scalability, and automation across cloud-based production environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high service availability and efficient deployment in a modern cloud ecosystem.

The position requires hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, and strong scripting skills, with hybrid work from Kraków city offices. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Production Support, or a related role
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions used in large-scale systems
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools used for automated build, test, and deployment processes
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and related tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD, or similar solutions
• Scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stability, performance, and continuous availability of production environments and business-critical services
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize containerized solutions running on Kubernetes-based platforms
• Enhance and support CI/CD processes to improve software delivery efficiency and reliability
• Drive automation initiatives by developing scripts and tools that reduce manual operational effort
• Work closely with engineering, testing, and operations teams to identify improvements and resolve technical challenges
