Job summary

Optiplay is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines. You will implement IaC with Terraform, design secure networking, and drive observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.

The role emphasizes scaling, reliability, and security across a cloud-native platform. You will influence architectural decisions, work in a fast-growing team, and collaborate with founders on platform engineering strategy.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
Strong AWS production experience including VPCs, VPNs, WAF, and multi-environment setups.
Deep Kubernetes knowledge, Helm and container runtimes.
IaC design with Terraform; modular, reusable patterns.
CI/CD and GitOps expertise (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo.
Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ.
Networking and proxying with NGINX/HAProxy/Traefik.

Responsibilities

Build our cloud infrastructure on AWS from scratch with automation-first design.
Design and operate Kubernetes environments and Helm charts.
Implement IaC using Terraform; create modular structures.
Define CI/CD and GitOps delivery pipelines.
Build secure networking architecture, including VPC, VPN, and firewalls.
Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing (Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/Tempo).
Deploy and manage PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ infra.
Shape platform engineering strategy and participate in architecture discussions.
