Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, automate deployments, and ensure high system reliability and security. The role emphasizes automation, cloud operations, and incident management to support scalable systems.

Responsibilities include managing EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC, implementing IaC with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation, and mentoring teammates in DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Scripting skills (Python preferred).
• Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, security groups, and ACLs.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management.
• Exposure to Java or Ruby applications.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Understanding TR-369 / TR-069 protocol.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Manage and support AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Monitor systems using tools like CloudWatch (alerts, dashboards).
• Ensure high availability, uptime, and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments.
• Reduce incident resolution time through automation and process improvements.
• Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices.
