Job summary

Searchability® is seeking a mid to senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines on Azure with Terraform. The role is permanent UoP, full-time, mostly remote with one day per month in Warsaw or Wroclaw; immediate start preferred.

You will collaborate with client engineers, manage Kubernetes workloads with Helm, and implement CI/CD across GitLab, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions. Strong English and right to work in Poland are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure infrastructure in Terraform.
• Run and improve CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes with Helm.
• Own monitoring and observability using Grafana, Datadog and New Relic.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Linux and Windows environments.
• Collaborate daily with the client engineering team to support delivery.

Warsaw or Wroclaw (Remote, one day a month in the office)

KEY POINTS

• Mid to senior DevOps Engineer, permanent UoP contract, full time
• Up to PLN 21,300 gross per month
• Azure and Terraform at the core, Kubernetes, Helm and CI/CD around them
• Almost fully remote, one day a month in the Warsaw or Wroclaw office
• Immediate start, ideally during November

ABOUT THE CLIENT

An established UK software consultancy with offices in Warsaw and Wroclaw. They employ their own permanent engineers and place them into long running client programmes, so you get the security of a permanent contract with the variety of client work.

This role sits on an education client's platform. The infrastructure, tooling and team are already in place, and industry experience is not needed.

THE ROLE

You would own the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines for the client's platform, working in Azure with everything defined in Terraform.

You will work directly with the client's engineers, so strong spoken English is essential.

They want someone starting during November at the latest, so this suits engineers who are available now or on a short notice period.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

• Building and maintaining Azure infrastructure in Terraform
• Running and improving CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Managing containerised workloads on Kubernetes with Helm
• Owning monitoring and observability through tools such as Grafana, Datadog and New Relic
• Troubleshooting production issues across Linux and Windows environments
• Working day to day with the client's engineering team to support delivery

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Mid to senior DevOps Engineer with commercial Azure in production
• Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong spoken English, as you will deal with the client directly
• Based in or near Warsaw or Wroclaw, with full right to work in Poland

DESIRABLE, NOT ESSENTIAL

• Helm, Pulumi or Puppet
• Elasticsearch and Kibana
