Job summary

Vetric in Kraków is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team, reporting directly to the DevOps Team Leader. This role will partner with engineering leadership to drive advanced infrastructure initiatives end-to-end—from system design through production hardening - setting the technical bar for operational excellence across the company.

The immediate challenge: Vetric operates a high-volume, multi-account AWS.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering experience with production ownership.
Deep AWS knowledge: compute, networking, IAM, and scalability patterns.
Production Kubernetes mastery on EKS at scale.
IaC & automation with Terraform; scripting in Python, Go, or TS; Bash.
Container workloads and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
Observability: metrics, logs, traces, SLOs.
Collaborative leadership in a fast-paced autonomous team.

Responsibilities

Drive migration from ECS Fargate to Kubernetes (EKS) with minimal downtime.
Design and implement modular IaC frameworks with Terraform and OpenTofu.
Evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and safe rollout strategies.
Oversee high-volume data layer and event-driven pipelines (ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Redis).
Enforce reliability and observability with OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, Grafana.
Balance velocity with security and cost efficiency (zero-trust, FinOps).
