Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Poland seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to deploy, support and improve a Kubernetes-based platform. You will lead initial implementation, migrations and ongoing operations, focusing on automation and reliability.

The role requires strong Kubernetes and Linux skills, hands-on CI/CD with Bamboo/Jenkins, and scripting with Bash or Python. English at least B2, and you may work remotely within Poland. Hybrid remote possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes-based applications.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have Helm for Kubernetes package management, Docker image building, Java/Eclipse application support, and AD/SSO/LDAP integration.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain installation scripts and set up Kubernetes clusters tailored to client needs.
• Migrate workloads between environments when required.
• Build and manage Docker images and orchestrate containers.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on Bamboo/Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Linux systems.
• Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and use Splunk for logs.
• Document infrastructure processes and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify deployment requirements and optimize infrastructure decisions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to deploy, support, and continuously improve a platform based on local Kubernetes. This role focuses on both the initial implementation, including setup and migration, and ongoing operational support of Kubernetes-based applications.
