Job summary

Grid Dynamics in Kraków is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build a modern developer platform across the full software lifecycle, from CI/CD to observability. You will design, implement, and scale robust pipelines and infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, Bazel experience, and strong automation with Ansible, Bash, and Git. You will collaborate with Go, C++, and TypeScript teams to improve tooling and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise.
• Familiar with containerized ecosystems (Docker).
• Experience with Bazel or solid build-system background and ability to learn Bazel quickly.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting using Ansible, Bash, and Git.
• Understanding of modern CI/CD practices and deployment lifecycles.
• Good communication and teamwork in English.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team in Poland that is building a modern, comprehensive developer platform from the ground up. This system covers the full software lifecycle - including build systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust integration and deployment pipelines for a modern developer platform.


• Implement code assembly, build automation, and dependency management using Bazel.


• Manage, scale, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized infrastructure.


• Automate deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management using Ansible, Git, and Bash.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams (Go, C++, TypeScript) to enhance developer tooling and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Solid, hands-on experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments.


• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestrations.


• Familiarity with containerized ecosystems (Docker).


• Practical experience with Bazel (Blaze) OR a strong build-system background with the ability and willingness to quickly learn Bazel on the project.


• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting using Ansible, Bash, and Git.


• Understanding of modern CI/CD practices and software deployment lifecycles.


• Good communication and teamwork skills in English.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Go or C++ build environments.


• Prior experience working on internal developer tools or build platform engineering.
