Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Global Shared Services) is building a Central European Demand Planning team. We seek a Senior Demand Planner to generate reliable ML or statistical forecasts by validating inputs, leading stability checks and coaching junior planners.

You will collaborate with operating companies across Europe to align demand plans and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 3–5 years in demand planning or ML forecasting within a multinational FMCG context, strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years work experience in demand planning or ML forecasting in a supply chain context.
• Experience in a multinational organisation; FMCG/beverage industry is a plus.
• Functional skills: supply chain planning, MS Office, knowledge of Blue Yonder or FuturMaster (preferred).
• Advanced English; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate master and transactional data, update demand causal factors, and support DFU/NPI lifecycle maintenance.
• Review and validate ML/statistical forecasts, assist with stability checks, apply cleansing strategies, advise operating companies on interventions.
• Conduct ML forecast handover meetings; ensure clarity of causal factors and provide guidance for enrichment.
• Coach junior demand planners to ensure consistent forecast management quality.
• Support operating companies for BB and DR meetings; represent the Hub in BB/DR and address challenges.

In 2026 we will start to build a Central European Demand Planning team in Krakow. You have the unique chance to join this team and be part of an exciting journey! The Central Demand Planning will provide the statistical forecast to our European operating companies. We will do that using a variety of Demand Planning tools (Blue Yonder and FuturMaster). In the coming 2 years the central team will grow to around 13 people. During that same period, we will onboard European operating companies one by one and start working closely with their local planning teams.

Job purpose

Ensure the generation of a reliable Machine Learning (ML) (or statistical) forecast by securing and validating inputs of demand causal factors, leading forecast stability assessments, and overseeing performance monitoring and improvement. The role enables our operating companies to enrich and align the demand plan, while driving continuous improvement and ensuring best practices in activities such as outlier cleansing where applicable. Additionally, the Senior Demand Planner acts as a mentor and coach to junior planners, supporting their development and ensuring consistent application of methodologies across the Hub.

Your responsibilities would include

• validating master and transactional data, update & refresh demand causal factors, and support maintenance of DFUs/NPI lifecycle
• reviewing and validating generated ML or statistical forecast by assisting in stability checks, applying cleansing strategies, and consulting operating companies on intervention cases
• conducting ML forecast handover meetings, ensuring demand for causal factors are clear, and operating companies are guided in enrichment.
• providing coaching and methodological guidance to junior demand planners to ensure consistent quality and alignment in forecast management activities
• providing support to operating companies in preparation for BB and DR meetings; represent Hub in BB/DR to explain ML forecast drivers and address challenges.
• sharing observed causal factor trends, market insights, and input on scenarios and risk & opportunity (R&O) discussions with Data Science and operating companies
• taking ownership of mature/difficult operating companies, requiring higher autonomy, advanced analytics, and proactive issue resolution.
• leading performance management by analyzing KPIs and PPIs; conduct weekly/monthly forecast performance meetings with operating companies and drive enrichment improvements
• ensuring cadence, adherence and governance; elevate risks to the Demand Planning Manager and drive resolution where needed.

You are a good candidate if you have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• at least 3-5 years work experience in demand planning, Machine Learning forecasting, supply chain management
• some experience working for a multinational organization; FMCG / Beverage industry experience
• functional skills: supply chain planning, Microsoft Office, experience working with Blue Yonder or FuturMaster (preferred)
• advanced English skills; second language (nice to have)
