Job summary

ipracujzdalnie.pl is seeking an experienced Senior Datacenter Engineer (Cisco area) to design and implement advanced enterprise datacenter networks across multiple Polish cities. You will lead large-scale deployments, provide L3 support, and drive automation initiatives through IaC tooling.

The role requires deep networking expertise (BGP/OSPF, ACI, EVPN/VXLAN, NX-OS) and hands-on virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V).

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Extensive experience independently designing and implementing large-scale enterprise and datacenter networks.
• Deep understanding of networking and datacenter technologies beyond standard configurations (BGP, OSPF, ACI, EVPN/VXLAN, NDFC, NX-OS).
• Practical experience in network automation using IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python, working with CI/CD processes)
• Good knowledge of related technologies (VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, servers, SAN networks)
• Analytical thinking, systematic approach, punctuality, ability to work in a team
• Communicative English enabling smooth communication with vendors and reading/writing advanced documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Visio for network diagrams)

• Comprehensive quoting and design of advanced network systems and enterprise-class datacenter solutions (BOM, HLD, LLD)
• Acting as a leader and providing technical oversight for large-scale, complex deployments
• Providing support for resolving critical failures in client environments (L3)
• Actively implementing automation (IaC) into deployment and maintenance processes
• Technical mentoring and representing the company in discussions with key clients
• Serving periodic on-call duties as an expert for escalation

Position Description

• Analytical thinking, systematic approach, punctuality, ability to work in a team
• Communicative English enabling smooth communication with vendors and reading/writing advanced documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Visio for creating network diagrams)

• Freedom in conducting technical presentations (presales, conferences) and building relationships with clients" technical teams
• Active expert certifications (CCIE)
