Jacobs in the UK is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support internal initiatives across MSA Mining and Sales Data Science. This replacement role will combine predictive modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning and data mining with consulting-style collaboration across the UK market.

You will help build models that improve understanding of business systems and support data-driven commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior-level data science experience, typically 5+ years in data science or analytics.
• Strong Python skills and experience with pandas and core data science libraries.
• Experience developing regression and ML models.
• Fluent English communication with UK stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and ML solutions for business and commercial use cases.
• Apply regression, classification, segmentation, forecasting techniques.
• Explore, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Build repeatable data-mining processes from sourcing to evaluation.
• Use Python data science libraries and visualization tools.
• Translate business questions into analytics and recommendations.
• Support MSA Mining on Azure; Palantir Foundry experience is a bonus.
• Collaborate with UK stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Document methodologies and model performance for responsible use.
