Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own analytics and predictive modeling for an industrial client. You will apply Data Science and ML to production data, building practical solutions for process optimization, quality prediction, anomaly detection, and PdM.

You will work with dense time-series data from sensors and processes, and communicate insights to stakeholders in professional English. Remote work from Poland is supported with occasional UK travel.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ML to heavy/continuous manufacturing industries.
• Experience with high-frequency sensor/time-series data.
• Hands-on experience with two or more core predictive use cases (scrap/quality, process optimization, PdM).
• Proficiency in Python data science stack (pandas, numpy, scipy) and common ML libraries.
• Ability to translate operational problems into structured analytical tasks and present findings in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive models using Python and ML techniques.
• Work with production/process/sensor/time-series data to derive insights.
• Focus on process optimization, quality/scrap prediction, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance.
• Independently own analytics and modeling work with high-quality deliverables.
• Communicate findings clearly to customer stakeholders in professional English.
