Job summary

Digital Turbine in Warszawa is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build ML models at scale and deploy them to production, impacting mobile experiences and monetization.

You will work on predicting user preferences and app values, optimizing RTB bids, and collaborating with a global data science team. Strong Python/SQL skills and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data science / ML.
• Experience in AdTech or Mobile Gaming is a plus.
• Proficient coding in Python and SQL.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will leverage our ML platform- handling TB datasets across 2B mobile devices to optimize models and algorithms. The salary range for this position is 18,000 - 26,000 PLN gross/month.

About the Senior Data Scientist Role

• Building ML models and deploying them to production on a giant scale to serve the following batch and online use-cases;
• Predicting mobile users' favorite apps based on their behavioral history
• Predicting the value of the users' in-app transactions for mobile app developers
• Optimizing our bidding prices in real-time auctions (RTB)
• Optimizing infrastructure utilization
• Detecting and eliminating fraud
• Contributing to prioritization of our ML work to deliver product roadmaps
• Performing investigations in the case of incidents and finding the root cause of the problems that may occur in our systems
• Collaborating with other Data Scientists who work on ML models for our company
• Contributing to the development of ML Platform we are building with the goal to improve existing algorithms and build new solutions across DT Products

About You

• 3+ years of experience in data science / ML
• Experience within AdTech or Mobile Gaming industry - a strong advantage
• Good coding skills in Python and SQL
• Cloud computing, preferably GCP
• Familiarity with Spark and Databricks - a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to develop solutions that bring value to the company
• Self-motivation to achieve something remarkable
• Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
• Proficient communication in English is a must
