ING Hubs Poland is seeking senior-level engineers to join the VISTA (Data Analytics) Fallback Platform team in Warszawa. You will design, build and operate resilient data platform capabilities supporting critical workloads during disaster recovery and fallback scenarios.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infra or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and distributed data processing environments.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native tech.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ING’s Data Analytics Fallback Platform.
• Create resilient data platform capabilities for disaster recovery and fallback scenarios.
• Develop and operate solutions based on Spark, Airflow, Iceberg, Trino, and object storage tech.
• Build and optimize data processing, orchestration, storage and metadata-management capabilities.
• Implement replication, synchronization, reconciliation and recovery mechanisms for critical datasets.
• Collaborate with platform, infra, security and data engineering teams at ING.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, automation initiatives and roadmaps.
• Participate in support, on-call activities as required.
