Job summary

ITDS in Krakow is seeking a Senior Data Modeller to design and implement advanced data models that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence across business units.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and data teams, apply Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema and 3NF modelling, profile data, and ensure models support transformations in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) while upholding governance and security.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of data modelling experience in operational and analytical systems.
• Strong expertise in Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema, and 3NF modelling.
• Proficiency in data profiling, data analysis, and working with relational databases and hierarchical data formats.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Solid understanding of data governance principles and data protection practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Conduct data profiling and analysis on relational and hierarchical data sources, including JSON and XML files.
• Work closely with data architects and engineers to ensure models support data transformation and high-quality data delivery.

• Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements for processes and automation.
• Support data governance, quality, and security standards to uphold organizational data integrity.
• Assist in optimizing data models for scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
