Job summary

DCG is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to gather and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. You will design data models and pipelines using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow, while integrating APIs from various sources and ensuring robust production deployments.

The role requires at least four years in data engineering, strong coding skills, and a solid understanding of modern data architectures. Independent work and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with API integrations and modern data architecture principles.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps).
• Ability to work independently and take ownership from concept to production.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and resilient data pipelines.
• Take end-to-end ownership of deliveries from requirements to production deployment.
• Build and enhance data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other data sources.
• Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Ensure high standards of stability, reliability, performance, and maintainability of solutions.
• Work independently, build domain knowledge in Recovery data area.
