EPAM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and enhance an enterprise data platform. Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills including query optimization and data modeling.
• Strong Snowflake experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server OLTP databases.
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation and validation.
• Design and develop data pipelines to ingest data from OLTP databases into Snowflake.
• Develop scalable, performant data models in Snowflake using Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of our client’s enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on data engineer with strong experience building data pipelines, integrating data from operational databases, and working with modern cloud data warehouses.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation Design and develop data pipelines to ingest data from operational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and other OLTP systems) into Snowflake Develop scalable and performant data models in Snowflake. Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models to support analytics and downstream applications. Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements

Requirements3+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience. Strong Python programming skills with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines. Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling. Strong experience with Snowflake. Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models. Excellent communication and collaboration skillsNice to haveExperience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks Experience with CI/CD for data engineering workflows
