Allegro is seeking Senior Data Engineers to design and scale data ingestion for millions of Allegro customers. You will work with Spark, Kafka, Beam, and BigQuery in a hybrid environment leveraging on-prem and Google Cloud Platform services.

You should have strong distributed-systems knowledge, cloud experience, and a passion for clean code, CI/CD, and ongoing learning. Warsaw-based team with flexible remote days.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Scala/Java and Python for data engineering tasks.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of GCP or other cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is required.
• Follow best practices: clean code, code reviews, TDD, CI/CD.
• Experience navigating Unix/Linux environments.
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable and fault-tolerant data ingestion for millions of users.
• Work with Spark, Kafka, Beam and related data tools in a hybrid cloud setup.
• Collaborate across teams to implement data processing and ML related solutions.
