Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data projects and design modern data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python development.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub-based CI/CD processes.
• Good understanding of Azure security, governance, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Fluent Polish and English; residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, notebooks, dataflows, and transformation processes.
• Support the development of scalable lakehouse, warehousing, and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Senior Data Engineers, and customer engineering teams.
• Implement engineering best practices, including source control, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Apply secure engineering approaches and support data governance, GDPR, and data classification requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and support ongoing development and optimization of customer data platforms.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities and contribute to technical standards within the Data & AI practice.
