Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for a global pharmaceutical project. You will contribute to a modern data platform used across markets, enabling data-driven decision making and analytics.

Key activities include developing data pipelines with Python, collaborating with agile teams, and supporting migrations and integrations across evolving environments. Strong AWS experience and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields.
Strong Python development skills including object-oriented programming and Pandas.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda and Step Functions.
Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data solutions.
Experience in Agile teams and modern software development practices.
Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform for analytics.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python and OO principles.
Build reliable, maintainable data pipelines and data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver solutions.

Your tasks

Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics
Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices
Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles
Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions
Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions
Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices
