Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms that empower advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across the pharmaceutical sector.

You will build robust data pipelines with Python, apply modern data engineering practices, collaborate with agile teams, and support platform migrations and integrations to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions globally.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
Strong Python development skills with OO design and data processing using Pandas.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions).
Solid cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions.
Experience working in Agile teams and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a modern data engineering platform enabling analytics.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python and best practices.
Build reliable, maintainable pipelines following OO design principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver quality solutions.

Your tasks

Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics
Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices
Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles
Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions
Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions
Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices
Advanced level of English
