Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions for a pharmaceutical project. You will contribute to a modern data platform used across markets and enable advanced analytics on a global scale.

Join cross-functional, agile teams to deliver reliable data pipelines and support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations. Strong Python and AWS skills, plus advanced English, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python development including OOP and Pandas.
• Hands-on AWS data services experience.
• Cloud-based architecture and scalable data solutions.
• Experience in Agile teams and modern dev practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics
• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices
• Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles
• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
• Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions
• Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices
• Advanced level of English
