Grid Dynamics seeks a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact initiative supporting advanced data movement and transformation patterns for a world-leading American quick-service restaurant enterprise. You will combine data modeling expertise with hands-on analytics to drive insights and scalable architectures.

You will design Medallion Architecture data models, profile data, and work with Databricks, PySpark, and Spark SQL to deliver timely business insights across global operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial data engineering experience with data modeling, profiling, and pipeline design.
• Hands-on with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and high-volume, low-latency data movement.
• Strong in gathering business/technical requirements, and documenting robust solutions; excellent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform data profiling and exploration across structured and unstructured sources to uncover insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc, root-cause, and what-if analyses to troubleshoot data flow and support queries.
• Design scalable data models for new movement, transformation patterns, and low-latency processing.
• Gather, refine, and manage requirements with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain data dictionaries and architectural diagrams for long-term scalability.
• Collaborate proactively to ensure high-quality deliverables.
