Job summary

Sigmasoftware2 is seeking a data engineer to advance secure, scalable data platforms and to own end-to-end data pipelines for analytics, monitoring, and detection. You will optimize SQL performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions across security analytics initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, hands-on Snowflake and DBT experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Data Engineering experience.
• Expert-level SQL with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Solid understanding of database concepts including DDL, DML, and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience working with Elastic stack technologies.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-autonomy environment.
• Experience driving technical initiatives from idea to implementation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize data processes for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Understand existing data models, tables, workflows, and processing jobs.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for system improvements.
• Design and support large-scale data pipelines and transformations.
