Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the data engineering team in a rapidly growing environment where data is the main product. You will work on building and maintaining robust, secure data pipelines on the Azure Databricks platform, supporting all key business functions and defining the data model for trusted client datasets.

You will collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions—from data acquisition to delivery to the end

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency with Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt and Python.
• Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg and HDFS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced data pipelines in Azure Databricks.
• Create scalable lakehouse architecture.
• Defining standards and best practices in Data Engineering.
• Collaborating with Data Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers and providing technical support to the team.
• Optimizing performance, reliability, security, and cost of the data platform.
