Job summary

Us3 Consulting in Warsaw seeks a Senior Data Engineer to deliver scalable cloud-based data solutions for a leading retail business. You will design and optimize data pipelines, automate Snowflake RBAC, and implement Data Vault models while collaborating with architects, analysts, product teams and data scientists to build reliable, secure platforms.

The role uses Snowflake, Python, DBT and Azure/AWS, with emphasis on governance, quality and CI/CD best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of Snowflake, including RBAC, roles, grants and security.
• Advanced Python development for automation and data engineering.
• Strong SQL development and query optimisation.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Commercial experience with DBT.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Data modelling experience, ideally Data Vault.
• Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality and security.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical best practices.
• Experience automating Snowflake RBAC migrations.
• Experience in a retail or large enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud automation.
• Experience supporting analytics and business intelligence platforms.
