Job summary

ESET Krakow is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Software Engineer with strong C++ skills to design and optimize antivirus scanner components.

You will analyze binary formats, perform reverse engineering on proprietary archives, and implement efficient algorithms while working in a hybrid team with English communication. Relocation not required, up to 12 days of home office monthly are available.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of production-grade C++ experience.
• Experience with reverse engineering or binary format analysis is a plus.
• No formal degree required, but showcasing projects related to programming is welcome.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Hybrid work model with up to 12 days of Home Office monthly.

Responsibilities

• Develop core module of antivirus scanner in C++.
• Create algorithms to process various file formats, often proprietary with no documentation.
• Analyze open-source code and compiled executables to unpack or decode data for detection components.
• Contribute to security improvements and countermeasures in a global product.
