Citi Solutions Center Poland is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to drive scalable security architectures and cross-functional collaboration in Warsaw. You will influence roadmaps, implement robust segmentation, and lead automation to streamline operations.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud security expertise, and a deep understanding of industry standards. The team operates with hybrid flexibility and a focus on risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, or IT engineering within a large-scale enterprise.
• Proven leadership or senior engineering experience driving large transformations.
• Hands-on with segmentation technologies: Illumio, VMware vDefend, Zscaler, Palo Alto.

Responsibilities

• Strategic collaboration with program directors, architects, and security leaders.
• Design, deploy, and maintain VMWare vDefend security controls and micro-segmentation.
• Governance: liaison with Security Architecture Council and cross-functional teams.
• Support cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployments and patching.
• Plan projects, analyze impacts, and ensure rapid service restoration.
• Review requirements, define hardware specs, and optimize processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive risk-aware decision making and long-term problem prevention.
