Senior Content Marketer - Job Post

About cside: cside is solving web security, starting with browser side injections. We cover a previously unmonitored attack surface with a developer and user friendly platform. The team is a diverse group of subject matter experts, fully remote and distributed around the world. Since January 2024, cside has raised $7.7 million in funding from Uncork Capital, Mantis Ventures, Scribble Ventures, Roar VC, Dan Scheinman, Jason Warner, Kathy Korevec and others. A team of investors is involved in helping our company and team grow.

About the role: The content marketer amplifies our storytelling across channels to educate the market and position cside as the first name that comes to mind for client-side security. This role requires an in-depth understanding of our product space and the security industry. Our founder and internal experts contribute to marketing efforts, providing strong source material to shape into authoritative content. You’ll own our content engine and create assets across social and search that capture attention and pull our target audience into our orbit. Your scoreboard is simple: help us rank higher on search and gain more visibility on social and forums. KPIs are traffic, leads, and sales opportunities.

What you will do
  • Craft technical value‑first narratives that resonate with security engineers & compliance leads
  • Writing. Lots of writing. Content for our various channels; blog posts, newsletters, social media, podcast, press releases, website copy, sales collateral. Get the message out!
  • Optimize blogs for SEO & AI search. Design social posts in high performing formats.
  • Syndicate content on forums like Reddit and niche communities. Monitor forum conversations to determine where we should participate.
  • Plan and manage our editorial calendar, ensuring the content engine runs smoothly.
  • Maintain a strong content-market fit by listening to customer calls, performing competitor research, and understanding the industry to keep content relevant & insightful.
  • This role is mostly focused on written content, but experience or interest in short/long form video, design, print, or other media is a plus.
  • Suggest winning tactics or creative angles to help us stand out.
  • Collaborate with our growth marketer & sales team to increase our pipeline (traffic, leads) and improve lifecycle conversion.
About you
  • 3+ years driving content for B2B SaaS (security or developer tooling preferred) with a clear track record of pipeline and revenue impact
  • Have a portfolio of past content you owned end-to-end
  • Your writing has flavor and can shift between social posts, long form articles, and video scripts
  • Know what’s working on social and search now through active participation in communities and experimentation
  • Able to translate complex technical concepts into a digestible format
  • Experience with analytics tools like Semrush, PostHog, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Preferred: basic experience with design tools like Figma, Canva
  • Preferred: experience creating content for cybersecurity or developer tools
  • Creative, independent, and willing to think outside the box to stand out
  • Autonomous: you’ll own your domain and define how we grow
  • Passion for web security and belief in cside\'s mission to protect developers and users
