SimCorp is seeking a Senior Compliance Counsel in Warsaw to support the data protection framework across the organization. In a time of rapid technological change, this work is increasingly important and plays a key role in supporting SimCorp’s sustainable growth.WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORAs our new Senior Compliance Counsel, you will work closely together with our Group Data Protection Officer to support and monitor the implementation of our data protection framework across SimCorp. In your role, you will work closely together with the 1st LoD, cross-functional teams, to support and advise them on data protection topics and jointly drive the data protection agenda.As the compliance team collaborates closely across different topics, this role also offers a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with other compliance areas and how they overlap with data protection, including AI and IT Compliance etc.- Supporting the 1st LoD teams in creating RoPA entries, risk assessments and other required documentation such as DPIAs, TIAs and LIAs- Collaborate closely with Vendor Management and Information Security to oversee data processors and perform data protection audits- Supporting the rest of Data Protection in maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring consistent application of those across the organization through controls and 2nd LoD audits- Provide advice to colleagues from all departments and levels of the organization on data protection- Facilitate training and build learning material in areas such as data protection and IT Compliance- Support the Compliance team with third party inquiries, when necessary, ex. due diligence questionnaires, RFP’s and RFI’s.WHAT WE VALUEMost importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above.
