Job summary

Allegro is seeking a seasoned Compliance professional to join our team in Poznań, Poland. The role focuses on advancing regulatory compliance across Poland and the EU, translating complex rules into practical guidance, and partnering with multiple business units on cross-functional initiatives.

You will advise on risk, policy governance, and regulatory monitoring, while contributing to the development of our governance culture and training programs. Fluency in Polish and English is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compliance or risk management in e-commerce, fintech, or digital platforms.
• Degree in law, audit, risk management, finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessments, policy governance, regulatory monitoring, and reviews.
• Experience as a Compliance SME/Advisor in cross-functional initiatives, not just project management.
• Ability to interpret European and national regulations and translate them into actionable guidance.
• Fluency in Polish and English (C1); Czech or other CEE languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Allegro Group teams in compliance management through consultations and substantive support.
• Identify relevant national and EU developments and define compliance requirements for projects.
• Provide day-to-day expert guidance to business units on compliance and reputational risks in new products and initiatives.
• Review and update internal compliance policies to align with laws and market standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and controls across operations and monitor remediation of identified risks.
• Monitor regulatory guidance and handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and deliver compliance training and communication programs for governance across the organization.
• Continuously improve the compliance management framework and risk methodology across the Allegro Group.
